For those who say these aren’t far right protests, well, in Sunderland they shouted racist slogans, they attacked an Uber driver’s car because of his colour and they attempted to march on the mosque, only stopped by riot police. Pretty conclusive evidence if you ask me
It is surely among the more puzzling aspects of recent history that this period in which Britain is sadly ‘broke’ should happen to coincide with a veritable Golden Age for the ultra-wealthy.
@barneyfarmer@SuslovsG Yes the whole thing is performative now. It's also the crying I can't stand. How many of these beer throwers would even watch England in a 3rd/4th playoff? Not many would care
If I lived to be one million years old I doubt I would ever understand the appeal or point of throwing a pint of perfectly good beer which I had bought with my own money up into the air.
Amazing gig @thisisgorilla for @michaelheadtreb in Manchester tonight. It was so special and the band were spectacular. Big out to the Gorilla team too who helped me with my dad when he took poorly with his breathing, I really appreciated your kindness in a scary moment.
Here's what the reviews say about #QWEERSHORTS - first up PRIDE OF PLACE by @goodoldMJ & @horsefield_jack -
