@Nine2Noon 1981 Rollie Fingers was pretty amazing. Won the Most Valuable Player AND the Cy Young.
Was super solid in 1982 too.

Yet another classic in this series.

Now I'm off to see whether I can watch Jason Bourne or if I have to watch Legacy first because Legacy unfortunately is the only one out of the 5 that I don't have.

It's even more amazing when you read the backstory. Most of the people in this film weren't even actors. They were kids from the neighborhood in and around Cabrini-Green. It's also mostly based on real life events.

At first, I was questioning the acting, writing and direction.

Then something just happens to you. The movie starts seeping into your pores and before you know it, you're completely enthralled.

The aesthetic, nostalgia and soundtrack are second to none.
