Just crafting my way through quarantine

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

I've been working on and publishing some things that I've been proud of recently - here's a thread of some of them.

Most importantly, thank you all for your love and support.

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@cmchn Oooh, yeah I kinda am

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@MatthewLandem You can send it to me

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@cmchn Buy an old used one, it's so much fun -- just as capable, so cheap to maintain, and I don't feel like an insecure truckdad... not as safe though, I guess. (adding pic for kicks)

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@JustinMezzell And in my 17th year of using illustrator I learned that this is their fault and not mine. All this time I’ve been creating little background shapes and smashing them into other layers with the pathfinder.

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

.@TopoChicoUSA here’s some free design advice - the arc layout and “twist of” text on your cap appears to instruct users that the cap is a twist off when it’s not. It’s small but I notice it every time.

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@JustinMezzell I feel this. I have my garbage planned for the next 5 weeks.

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@hodges I’d be happy to help!

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@SeanWebflow @webflow Zomg it's perfect *resume zhushing intensifies*

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@outsidemagazine No shame to those competing for FKT's, but I made a patch for those of us who just plod along for the joy of it. Whatever your style, have fun out there!

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@rogie From where I’m at, you and a handful of others are *the* design Twitter. Does that help?

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

This is scratch 2 of 2, Mystic is helping Gloria with a sniffer itch. The foreman poodle goes by the name Sausage. Strong work, everyone. I’ll add to this thread as more itches get scratches.

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

This is Mystic the doggo, and Gloria the hopdog. They help each other scratch itches from time to time. This is scratch 1 of 2, thanks Glo.

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

I don’t think my feeble heart could handle a season 2 of “Say I Do” without @ThaiNAtelier’s wedding being one of the episodes.

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@madhu131313 Awesome, thanks for watching Madhu, I appreciate your feedback!

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@TaylorWAnderson If it comes with that old Toyota I’m in

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@JustinMezzell Ughhhh. My partners boss mailed her a copy, too. Major not-ok.

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

“Well, the world is on fire. Folks are lonely, scared and searching for solace and truth. Granola is a good place to find those things on a rough day.”
-From the card a friend’s mom sent us with her granola recipe.

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@hedeedit @pluralsight Thanks so much for watching it @hedeedit!

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

@TaylorWAnderson This is the type of content that the world needs... now and forever.

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

I've gotten off of Instagram and have been posting images from life in quarantine to my website, just because I think images are important. https://t.co/jjayc9hgX1

[Chris Davis @GoodRoadCo]

I hosted a presentation about a trail running documentary project that I've been working on with Moe - this was big for me because I believe that "adventure films" need to go away and we need to talk about people, their stories, and foster inclusion. https://t.co/8hHpPVz22s
