“This is my Body, given for you” is the theme of this year’s Catechetical Sunday. These words remind us of how the Eucharist is the source and summit of our continuing formation in our faith...
Today’s Feast reminds us not to despair when we have a heavy cross to carry. With faith, see it as a way to unite yourself more closely to the sufferings of Jesus; to grow in holiness; and to rely on the strength God provides. By his holy cross, Christ has redeemed the world!

there appeared to them tongues as of fire,
which parted and came to rest on each one of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit"
Acts 2:1-4
Fr. Tom will lead a rosary after the 9am Mass on May 13 for: our nation, the integrity of our judicial system, and that all branches of government be dedicated to seeking the common good and protecting the dignity and rights of the human person, from conception to natural death.
@GoodShepherdCC parishioners’ donations of food remind us we cannot approach the table of the Lord to be fed by Jesus in the Eucharist unless we also feed our neighbors who are hungry for the food they need to feed themselves and their families! @CCDArlington
"We begin our celebration...on this Holy Thursday - an occasion for us to really remember three important gifts that Jesus has given to us at the Last Supper: the gift of the Eucharist, the gift of the Priesthood, and the gift of His commandment to love one another." -Father Tom
At times, we can feel insignificant and even forgotten in this big world of ours. However, that will never be the case with the Lord, who reassures us: “I will never forget you.” Be sure never “to forget” to include him in every aspect of your life. He is gracious to all!
