"The Saints did NOT lose because of the no-call. They simply didn't."
@JFarisSports sounds off and explains the real reasons why New Orleans fell in the NFC Championship: #Saints #Rams #NFL #NFLPlayoffs

When the sun settles upon Harrisonburg on a Friday night, he emerges to watch over the darkness.

Harrisonburg is home to many things, and superheroes are now one of them. He is the Dark Defender. 🦸‍♂️

After today's scary injury to Reuben Foster, the #Redskins need to evaluate their off-season conditioning program, according to a former NFL GM.

According to #JMU WBB head coach Sean O'Regan, junior guard Lexie Barrier won't return this season. He confirmed her hand injury is not career-threatening. Barrier fell and injured her hand in the opening minute of the CAA quarterfinals against Hofstra on March 14.

JMU's season comes to an unfathomable finish. Two of the team's best scorers, Kamiah Smalls and Lexie Barrier, played a combined three minutes due to injury. #JMU beat No. 9 #Hofstra by 23 and 15 points in the regular season and led at the half. #CAAHoops #CAAChamps

[James Faris @JamesFaris_]

Ahead of the #CAAHoops tournament, I took a deep look at the numbers to see how #JMU MBB compares with its opponents. Calculations are based on Pythagorean Expectation, an advanced metric based on point differential. Here are the CAA's best teams according to expected wins:

In 2015-16, JMU accomplished two incredible feats: It went undefeated at home (14-0) and won the CAA tournament. Now under O’Regan, the Dukes don’t just have the chance to make history, they have the chance to repeat it. @TheBreezeSports

Many can criticize #JMU men's basketball. Few can come up with answers. In this Twitter thread (and my @TheBreezeSports story tomorrow), I'll outline a simple truth based on complex calculations that could swing JMU's season. It's infuriatingly simple... will the Dukes adjust? 1/

Boston held tight at the trade deadline, and if they can't get it done this season, they, not the #Lakers, will be the frontrunners to land Anthony Davis, says @JFarisSports: #NBATwitter #LakeShow

[Good Take Podcast @GoodTakePod]

"[LeBron's injury] exposed a lot of weaknesses in the LA Lakers. They have to make serious moves and tweaks in the offseason ... they showed they can't hang tough and they're not much better than a 30-35 win team without LeBron James." #NBA #NBATwitter #LakeShow
