There are stories we don’t always tell out loud…not because they’re not real, but because they’re hard to explain. This is a true story, please read.
I once knew a sister, strong in faith, quiet and deeply gifted. The kind of person who didn’t need to announce anything, you just felt it around her,that's the aura around her. She would dream and see visions. Sometimes she’d speak, and it would be like light entering a dark room, words of knowledge, clarity, direction. She actually carried a certain grace.
Then she got a role, close to the altar, serving as a secretary to a pastor/man of God. At first, it was subtle. She stopped remembering her dreams the way she used to. The visions became faint, then rare. The sharpness of her spiritual sensitivity started dulling. Even her confidence in hearing God became shaky. The same person who once poured into others began to feel empty herself. Unknown to her the so called pastor was spiritually stealing from her 😳. She just knew…something wasn’t right. The struggle continued until she made a difficult decision, she stepped away.
And then…the healing began.
Not instantly. But gradually, like dawn breaking after a long night. Her dreams returned. Her clarity came back. The flow, the grace, the gift, it all started finding its way back to her life.
It took rigorous prayers to bounce back.
Sometimes, what looks like “service” can quietly drain you if it’s not aligned with your spirit. Not every environment that speaks God is truly nurturing what God has placed inside you.
Some recoveries require distance, discernment, and deep prayer.
@vickyomolara Balance is truly key.
Isolation for the longest of time tends towards weirdness/darkness
Too much association on the other hand brings disrespect and confusion
@vickyomolara It reminds me of an SU woman that believed every young girl in the estate we lived in was wayward and chasing after men
It got to her two daughters doing it live and directly under her nose and she looked the other way.
Hypocrisy of the highest order
