@CursedCatTruffa I do agree that it weakens the narrative a bit + the second part exists so it's odd they did this, but personally I like the ability to use favorites in any route so I don't really mind.

That being said, I would've at least made Tialla and Buccar exclusives cause wtf lol

@mynameisbonni I have a lot of gripes with this game that prevent it from being a huge favorite, but man, just the fact that it's a traditional FE experience where you go chapter to chapter was a massive breath of fresh air

Really wish it outsold 3H, but alas...

It's still optional, but it feels like some of the resources into making the chapters polished and fun was pulled to make it happen, which sucks

It's probably the nostalgia talking, but, Awakening has such a charming cast of characters (both gen 1 and 2) that it's really hard to hate any of them, even if there are some characters I just find alright and that's it.

@fetwtconfession Kris may not be the most exciting character and is a little invasive of the narrative, but I still think they're lowkey one of the best avatars purely because of gameplay (customizable appearance, can influence stats and growths, can choose their class out of the gate)

- So much content crammed in to one game
- Lots to do in the main city hub of Dagsion
- Surprisingly expansive world map
- Persona style tasks to do in town
- Fun risk/ reward battle system
- Lots of characters to recruit in town
- Each main character has their own unique story you can switch to at any time
- Only one save file

But she's also far from the most recognizable FE character at the same time
