Just rebranded this account as my author page. Two books on the Ukraine War are out in the world now.
I'll still be here writing about the conflict: geopolitics, human cost, the bigger picture.
If you want an unfiltered analysis of it, you've come to the right place.

@ZaharisJason@Ilhan Sounds like cope to losing the war to former terrirtory. Average of 30,000-35,000 RU soldiers killed per month, equipment/ defensive tech destroyed quicker than being replaced, decrease in net territorial control, logistics around Crimea disrupted.
@Ilhan So you'd rather make it harder on Ukraine because you don't want to hurt Russia's feelings? Can't say you support Ukraine while stabbing them in the back.
Can't wait for you to get voted out.
Never thought I'd see the day when American's would rather tap out than stop Russia.
Also people are bitching about the US sending weapons to Ukraine, yet aren't as critical on the war with Iran which is significantly more expensive per day. Also people are failing to see how us not working closely with Ukraine in drone warfare has put us behind in modern warfare (drone interceptors).
This just rewards dictators and emboldens them. China would be more inclined to go after Taiwan, for example. Also why would Ukraine surrender when they are winning against Russia?
This whole war started over the fact Ukraine was growing, migrating towards the EU and would be better off in the EU rather than under Russia's thumb. Putin didn't like that and deployed Wagner and unmarked Ru forces into Donbas.
Outside of the Ukraine War, it appears the US has hit Kharg Island, as the ceasefire is anything but. A gamble for sure. With the thousands of Marines in the area, could this be a precursor to ground operations on the island?
#IranWar#Khargisland
BREAKING:
Explosions and air defense launches reported from Kharg Island.
Kharg Island holds Iran’s oil terminals. 90% of its oil is exported from there.
In my opinion, the drone hitting the apartment is a desperate attempt at an off ramp from the war. Same with the threats to the #Baltic states. It'd be easier for them to sell a loss to NATO rather than UA.
JUST IN: 🇷🇺🇪🇺 Russia's Security Council Deputy Chair Medvedev says European Union has "unilaterally entered into a war with Russia."
"Citizens of EU countries…Don't be surprised by anything. The peaceful sleep is over."
Interesting article stating how Ukraine’s changes in 2026 give them an advantage on the battlefield. Next few months will be interesting to watch. Hoping for a successful summer for UAF.

@gexxogenn22@janine_szokoly@WarFlash_2630@AntiSOVI3T No, trying not to use translation and trying to use more of my Ukrainian (though still needs work. Been learning consistently for a few years, though not as good as my other languages).
I will say as much as getting even with the invaders is the initial reaction, Ukraine giving them POW status and treating them more humanely goes a long way. Shows UA is better than the aggressor.
Plus it breaks the narrative of what the Russians are told, that Ukraine is brutal and will make them suffer, etc. Which can be a powerful tool in either getting them to defect or spread the word that what they were told is bullshit.
Ukraine has just deployed a battlefield technology that feels like a mix of science fiction and a game of Call of Duty.
According to The Times, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have introduced a new system that radically changes the rules of modern warfare.
A single operator can now control an entire swarm of drones in real time, see the battlefield through artificial intelligence, receive instant targeting data, and coordinate strikes with sniper-level precision.
What once required dozens of personnel and hours of planning can now reportedly happen within seconds.
Russian troops are already referring to it as “the Ukrainian digital hell.”
@Gerashchenko_en It's why I have written 2 books on this topic and continue to do work covering the war. The world needs to see how Putin purposely targets the innocent in a campaign of fear, while also needing to see how Ukraine is still standing, outperforming the invaders.
Facts are facts. Anyone following the war objectively close, with unbiased eyes (which apparently is hard for the majority), see that while we did damage to Iran, it’s temporary. Us being exposed in being behind in modern drone interceptors, rapidly depleated stockpile, the strait mined and tolled by the IRGC (which wasn’t the case before), Iran keeping enriched uranium (which is enough to use for a low yielding nuke or dirty bomb), and the IRGC still standing, is not a win for us.
Weakness in our capabilities were exposed to our enemies, Iran proved they could do significant damage to our positions nearby. The IRGC standing is still a threat. I don’t like it either. But as someone who served, understands skin in the game, and actually follows (and wrote books) on global affairs see: talk is bullshit, actions are what matters. And ours showed we did not remove the threat Iran poses.
Imo, these appear to be too slow to be Oreshnik missiles, more like Iskanders. If it was Oreshnik, there is no load in them (as they carry nuclear warheads. Though kinetic impact would still be devastating).
What does this say? This seems more like trying to assert “strength” but comes off more as weakness and desperation. #Ukraine #oreshnik #Russia
Russia reportedly used the Oreshnik ballistic missile on Bila Tserkva in Kyiv Oblast
The Oreshnik releases up to 6 independent hypersonic warheads and cannot be intercepted. Zelenskyy warned of exactly this strike less than 24 hours ago https://t.co/PbsQBywNef

Uh dude, Russia is losing it. They are collapsing, can’t keep up with drones, still don’t control the skies, have an outsated doctrine, lost a shit ton of their forces, couldn’t take former territory even with their best troops.
Fact is, RU forces are awful and out performed by their smaller neighbor.
@supremekleintel@JiujitsuOtter Best thing to do is just not get in a street fight. So much can go wrong. Like he could let go after the tap and the other dude’s could just start back up again. Never underestimate desperate people.
You can’t win a war through strictly an air campaign, especially with a country like Iran (numerous deep underground facilities) or have regime change without occupation and ground forces. On top of that, we are struggling with intercepting shaheds (which is a fault of both Trump and Biden for not working closer with Ukraine in understanding how to do so). From optics and how little information is reported stateside, we are losing the war.
