For any of you lads not out on the golf course this off season, here’s a little game you can play to help pass the time. See how many of these Gael Cliché’s you can find floating around the non-league circuit on Twitter ✍🏻⚽️✅
I can’t take another year of Sanchez in goal. Bad GK and seriously unlikeable bloke to have in your team. The way he tries to claim fouls when he is incompetent is beyond embarrassing 🤡
Congratulations to Marcus Rashford who has entered the first name and surname hall of fame.
Commentators have to use both names. Like.....
Seamus Coleman
Joe Cole
Solly March
Dan Burn
Anymore?
Ben Chilwell met scientists working towards a cure for childhood brain tumours and donated £25,000 to their work at Queen Mary, London, on Tuesday. England and Chelsea left-back, who finished last season on loan at Crystal Palace, is patron of Shay’s Smiles. Charity established in memory of Shay Patel, a Chelsea fan who died from glioblastoma brain tumour aged 13. Shay's favourite Chelsea player was Chilwell and he felt an extra connection as both had played for grass-roots club Woburn Lions (now Woburn & Wavendon FC) near Milton Keynes.
Chilwell accompanied Shay’s family to the Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence at Queen Mary this week. “Until I met Niki and Deenu (Shay's parents), I wasn’t aware how tough the outlook was for brain tumour patients," Chilwell says. "It was shocking to discover that one in three children who die of cancer is killed by a brain tumour.” September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. @braintumourrsch
