Had to put my phone on airplane mode as I went on air yesterday because I feared receiving the news we all knew was coming while live would make it impossible for me to finish the broadcast.

Packed up my stuff quicker than ever hoping I could get to the hospital in time to say goodbye one more time but sadly I didn’t make it.

With us at every milestone, on every occasion & whenever we needed you. Everyone says this about their grandfathers but ours really was the best.

We never got to meet our other Grandfather but you were worth ten. Devastated to lose you but you’re at peace now. We learnt so much from you & if there were more people like you in the world it would be a much better place.

Humble, never obsessed with money or flash things, only your family really mattered. Feels like yesterday I was sitting by the window waiting for you to pull up on the drive way after work - memories that will last forever. Καλό ταξίδι 🙏🏻✝️
