Y’know what watching it again, few hours later, I dig the new Starfox (still hate the name)

The look’s growing on me. I’m cool with Starfox joining Metroid in the new hyperrealistic Nintendo family

A whole new generation is gunna get into Starfox. And that’s always a good thing

Also I am so, so, SO happy that I've been disconnecting lately, cause apparently news that there was a Starfox direct incoming leaked who knows how long ago.

For me, seeing the direct announcement today was SUCH a surprise. I wouldn't trade that emotional rush for the world.

Pros
- Feels very cinematic. They wanted to make a new game and a Starfox movie so they made both
- JUNE?! That's crazy
- Just happy to see the gang back at last

Cons
- Wish we could just move on from 64
- Aesthetic screams "Unreal Engine Fan Remake"
- "Starfox" no subtitle? Ew.

@MissFushiGaming They’re both wonderful games. I think you’ll love them and they’ll be very entertaining to watch!

Though I recommend either having a closed/monitored chat, or recording yourself playing off-stream. These are games infamous for backseating and chatters spoiling critical elements

@antdude92 Nearing the end. Gorgeous graphics. There’s no way it could live up to 8 years of buildup - but it’s a shame how many hard to ignore issues there are. Feels very grindy and old fashioned.

I had a good time. And could see myself playing it again. But not the game I hoped it’d be
