Wil links up with manager Danny Janes once again, having previously played under DJ at Pershore Town, where the pair enjoyed a league-winning campaign together.

A versatile and exciting addition to the squad, Wil is capable of operating across the back line as well as in the front three, giving the team valuable flexibility in a number of positions.

Known for his explosive pace, athleticism and ability in 1v1 situations, Wil brings directness, energy and quality that will add another dimension to the Westfields squad.

Westfields FC are delighted to announce the signing of experienced defender Mike McGrath.

A player with a wealth of experience at the highest levels of non-league football, Mike arrives at Allpay Park having previously represented two of the biggest clubs in the region — Hereford FC and Kidderminster Harriers.

Mike's time at Edgar Street from 2016 to 2018 saw him play a key role in one of the most memorable periods in Hereford's history, helping the Bulls achieve back-to-back promotions and rise from Step 4 football all the way to National League North.

His performances, leadership and winning mentality made him a popular figure amongst the Hereford faithful, before going on to gain further experience with Kidderminster Harriers and continuing to compete at the top end of the non-league pyramid.

Now, he brings that experience, composure and know-how to Danny Janes' squad for the 2026/27 campaign.

Sean Cooke will lead the 'Fields into the 2026/27 season as Club Captain, and we're proud to have Darren Lynch Glazing LTD backing him for the campaign ahead.

🗣️ Here's what gaffer Danny Janes had to say:

"Sean has played for me during two previous spells, so I know exactly what he'll bring to this team. He understands the standards I expect and the way I want us to play.

Sean will be the one delivering those messages on the pitch and making sure everyone is accountable. Every manager needs players they can trust to drive their ideas and set the standard, and Sean is someone I trust completely.

I'm absolutely delighted to appoint Sean as Club Captain for the 2026/27 season."

ANDY'S MAN CLUB HEREFORD — ONE YEAR ON 👌🏻

Tomorrow marks the one year of Andy's Man Club Hereford, based here at Westfields FC - a significant milestone for a group that, over the past 12 months, has welcomed and supported more than 100 men from across the Hereford region.

As Lead Facilitator Alex Knowles reflects:

"In a perfect world we shouldn't really need Andy's Man Club, however in reality we do. We should all feel comfortable talking to our friends, our families and the people around us. We should be able to tell someone when life isn't going well, yet so many of us find it incredibly difficult to do that."

Andy's Man Club provides a space where men can talk openly, listen to others and, perhaps most importantly, realise they are not the only ones carrying something heavy.

Every Monday evening, men walk through the doors at Allpay Park, and are welcomed with a brew, a biscuit and a room full of people who genuinely care.

There's no referral.
No booking required.
No pressure to speak.
No judgement.

Just three simple questions:

- How's your week been?
- Have you got a positive from your week?
- Have you got anything you'd like to get off your chest?

"In reality, they're all part of question one, but because they're asked differently, they allow us to answer differently. That's where the conversation starts."

Alex describes Andy's Man Club as a place where "the light is always on" — whether you need it this week, next month or years from now.

"Sometimes it's not even about talking. Sometimes it's about listening. Hearing someone else's story, recognising parts of yourself in it and realising you're not the only one carrying something heavy."

Over the last year, we have seen men arrive carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders, and in time, we've seen those same men standing taller, smiling more and becoming a different version of themselves.

So, if you're reading this and life feels difficult right now, or if you know someone who might benefit from having a place to talk, the door is open.

Andy Burn'em blaming Mrs Thatcher for de-nationalising companies in energy, water, oil etc which resulted in foreign ownership is completely disingenuous, and frankly dishonest or just plain ignorant.

What Burn'em WON'T tell you is that Mrs Thatcher ensured that her government retained what were known as 'Golden Shares' in these companies.
These allowed the government to stop foreign takeovers and to have a big say in how they operated.

Guess what though?🤔

The EU objected to these Golden Shares through their 'Free Movement of Capital' clause - Article 63 TFEU.
So John Major started to sell them off accordingly BUT the vast majority were sold off by TONY BLAIR and LABOUR.

So the finger for lack of government control in this area needs to be pointed at Tony Blair and Labour, NOT Margaret Thatcher.
So I am calling out Andy Burn'em as a liar.
