@LSUBanditz The distinction is were those “non white” ppl alternate jurors or not? They all sit in the jury pool & listen to the case but their vote don’t matter unless they get called up to replace someone
@L1928374610@NatetheLawyer Again…this should’ve been manslaughter. Just like it should’ve been manslaughter w/ Zimmerman, Chow & Rittenhouse. I bring up those cases because the armed person was the aggressor & got zero charges. That’s the disparity
@L1928374610@NatetheLawyer & there were witnesses on the other side that said different so that’s a wash. Also Zimmerman/Chow could be considered the aggressors due to them pursuing the victims & escalating the situation into a confrontation while armed
@LinksToThings@ChyoPads@DavidDTSS@RumorsandRants It’s really not last minute tho, he said when they made it to the finals he’d go to a game. He did use to attend Knicks games back in the 90s too
@realAAAbbott@NiallStanage But there was a whole ass video taken from the agent’s angle which showed she drove the car at him. The media moved the goalpost in realtime after saying it didn’t happen, then pivoted to the car was moving slow & barely bumped the agent
@NiallStanage@krystalball Yikes….he don’t realized he literally contradicted himself out the gate which invalided everything that came out his mouth?!? 😬
In April, commercials were filled with jewelry ads reminding everyone to buy gifts for Mother’s Day. When Father’s Day rolls around, fathers rarely get the same recognition. And when they do appear in commercials, it’s usually a hardware store ad telling them to buy a grill.
On Father’s Day, fathers shouldn’t be standing over a grill cooking. They should have their feet up, relaxing, and being appreciated by the family they work so hard to provide for. Many men work two and three jobs to keep a roof over their family’s heads, food on the table, and bills paid, only to be overlooked, disrespected, or treated as if their sacrifices are simply expected.
June is also Men’s Health Month, yet many people don’t even know it exists. That says a lot about how normalized it has become to ignore the struggles, sacrifices, and well-being of men. To all the fathers, husbands, sons, brothers, and hardworking men out there: if nobody has told you lately, you are appreciated. You are valued. Your sacrifices matter. Your presence matters. And the people who love you are blessed to have you.
