As #CDPAppreciationMonth continues, we want to show our gratitude for all the contributions that our mixer drivers make to Sunrock, the concrete industry and this great country of ours - contributions that far too often go without recognition.

One of the many ways that we show our gratitude is through our annual CDP Appreciation Luncheon and Giveaway! Each year, Sunrock joins forces with @GoRocketStart to celebrate our amazing CDPs by having a huge lunch and prize giveaway in Butner.

During this event, we recognize our best drivers from the past year, including top driver at each plant, drivers with the most badges, loads, excellence in safety, and outstanding service, among others. Winners were given wide array of different prizes, including everything from Gift Cards and AirPods to TVs, Tablets, and a Grill!

Sunrock and Rocket Start would like to thank all of our drivers for an amazing year. Without our team of talented and hardworking CDPs, our continued success would not be possible. Thank you all for being the backbone of Sunrock Industries and having a successful year.

Sunrock and @GoRocketStart capped off 2025 by celebrating all of our amazing Concrete Delivery Professionals with a huge lunch and prize giveaway! We recognized our best drivers from the past year, including top driver at each plant, drivers with the most badges, loads, excellence in safety, and outstanding service, among others. Winners were given wide array of different prizes, including everything from Gift Cards and AirPods to TVs, Tablets, and a Grill! 

Paul Covert (Butner) was crowned “Mixer Driver Champion” for 2025 and presented with a custom Championship Belt along with a 70” inch TV! Donnell Christopher was our big Safety Winner and took home a sweet Wood Pellet Grill & Smoker! First place winners at each site included Paul Covert, Carlos Parker, Maurice Holland, Willie Yarborough, Henry Hogan, Elijah Daniel, and Landolph Palmer. 

Badge Winners recognized were Dominic Short (Loads), Demetric Daniel (Safety/Tanker), Reuben Palmer (Call of Duty), Donnell Johnson (Good Suggestion), Germaine Boice (Driver Appreciation), Eric Perrera and Jerry Norman (Show Truck). Top Drivers that received awards included Antwan Lyons, Eric Hyde, Frank McGhee, Jamar Strickland, and Shondre Fields. 

Congratulations to all of our winners! Sunrock and Rocket Start would like to thank all of our drivers for an amazing 2025! Without our team of talented and hard working CDPs, our continued success would not be possible.
