PRESS RELEASE Today @ 0728 officers were dispatched to a bicyclist/train accident @Lincoln Ave crossing. Upon arrival at 0731, they found the bicyclist deceased. The bicyclist's name is being withheld until next of kin can be notified. There is no add'l information at this time.

11.28.21 at 12:36PM, officers were sent to 200 blk
of N Indiana Ave for a personal injury accident. At arrival officers found a 21 yom with a gunshot wound who was flown to a local hospital with serious injuries. The Elkhart Co Homicide Unit was called to assist. 1/2
11.12.21 at 0559 officers were dispatched to a pedestrian/vehicle accident @ US33 & Kercher Rd. Witnesses attempted life-saving measures. Paramedics declared Michael S Brown, 51, of Syracuse, IN deceased. An investigation is taking place. There are no further details. ###
They were taken to Goshen Hospital for treatment & then airlifted to Ft Wayne due to their injuries. There were multiple reports of property damage due to gunfire. This is an ongoing investigation. It’s believed the incident was isolated & directed towards specific individuals.
Officers responded to the 1700 block of Windsor Lane to the report of sounds of gunshots early this morning. During the course of the investigation, two subjects, a male and a female, were found to be struck by gunfire. (cont.)

There was a shooting early this morning on the north side of Goshen. A 22 YOM was transported to the hospital where he’s being treated for non-life threatening injuries. These are the only details we can release at this time as it’s an ongoing investigation.
