When I first started this page, it was never intended to be used as a “drama page,” but merely one to lurk other Habbo pages and read along so I understood the context of the social hierarchy. I created this page when I first joined Habbo in 2024, and never posted on it until the last handful of months. Without context, this is all probably very confusing.

Why do we blame victims?

It’s a false sense of security. Blaming the victim of abuse gives us the air of confidence that “it won’t happen to me.” As if there was something that the victim did to bring it upon themself.

The fact of the matter is, no one is “too smart” to be abused. Victims are chosen by predators, and they use various different manipulation tactics to get what they want. If they can’t, they lash out - often in more damaging manors than before. In that sense, the perpetrators abuse the person who DOESNT fall for their tricks , the MOST.

The concept that abusers target weak people is a myth. They think quite highly of themself, and think they are entitled to the best of the best. The best way to spot the baddest bitch is by the number of incels orbiting her~

The concept of blaming a victim distances yourself from the idea of being a target yourself, but doesn’t actually keep you safe.

Numerous times I have had women mock me for feeling uncomfortable around men they were friendly with, only to later come to me asking for help because he began the same obsessive nature with her. The cycle continues.

If you find yourself confused how a seemingly intelligent woman could be manipulated by someone, don’t ask how she fell for it. Ask how manipulative that person had to have been, to convince her.

Men have a tendency of being angry toward women who speak up; this is general misplaced anger. Rather than assume she is lying and casting a bad light on men, the good ones should condone the acts of the men who put men in a poor light. The only person to blame for the actions of abusive men are the men choosing to be abusive.
