“People like that are usually the best kind,” Enkhgargal said thoughtfully as she polished off another wing. Reaching for a fresh one, she turned it over in her hand before taking a bite.
“They don’t hand out their trust freely, and honestly? I can’t fault them for that.” She
away behind another bite of spicy chicken. While she appeared comfortable enough in crowds and conversation, there were parts of herself she rarely shared. Trust had never come easily to her.

A fond smile immediately appeared on the

“Though, where I live, it looks like Halloween all year round. That’s how I decorated it. Honestly, every day feels like Halloween to me.”
Whether it was her wardrobe choices, her tastes, or simply her outlook on life, she
