Having taken a seat at multiple early-stage startups and seeing only one go to IPO, this hit a nerve. The early folks that settle the foundation of unicorns only gain real monetary value at IPO, if they even last that long.
What’s disappointing here is this is not the past 5 years… this is just post-dotcom era. Small startup founders and the core members who end up with VC money generally don’t come out on the winning end… they end up with the disappointing exit!

@Alistair_McF @Alistair_McF the cat and mouse game may never end… it’s a continued sad state of the gaming industry. One thing I do believe you (Rust and EasyAntiCheat) need to do is stop being so cold. There are some who get banned illegitimately. Their voice is ignored.
