Meitei radicals are destroying Kuki-Zo properties in Imphal, Manipur blatantly defying Supreme Court orders. Homes and communities are being erased, with Kuki-Zo localities even being renamed. This is state-enabled ethnic cleansing.

The destruction of Kuki-Zo properties in Imphal, Manipur by Meitei radicals includes burning villages and renaming localities. This blatant attack on the Kuki-Zo community's identity and heritage must be condemned and stopped.

When Manipur's last King, Bodhachandra Singh, was pressured by the Manipur Hindu Maha Sabha to sign the Merger Agreement with India.

Chief Chahsad Haokip sent 400 soldiers to protect him. Despite this, internal pressures led Bodhachandra Singh to leave for Shillong, where he signed the pivotal Shillong Accord of 1919 after praying for Manipur's future. Upon his return, he acknowledged the soldiers' loyalty, securing their settlement near his Palace Compound. This led to the Kuki settlement of Hapkip Veng, symbolizing unity amidst regional challenges.

The destruction of Haokip Veng marked a profound turning point, signifying the division between the Meetei and Kuki communities. The accord that once bound these disparate groups dissolved amidst the smoke rising from Haokip Veng in Imphal, situated near the residences of CM N. Biren Singh and the Manipur Police Headquarters, at the northern entrance of Manipur Royal Palace, the residence of the Titular King and Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba.

The Manipur Police commandos facilitated the mob in the incendiary destruction of Haokip Veng, resulting in the loss of the unifying '𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐈 𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐈' slogan amidst the ashes of this pivotal location in Manipur's complex socio-political landscape

Tomtomsana Nongsaba, a former MP candidate (Meitei), a controversial figure known for his outspoken and critical views, which often target the political establishment, particularly CM Biren Singh. 

Despite being dismissed as a "Joker" by many Meitei politicians, his speeches have resonated with some sections of the public, who see him as a bold and honest voice against political corruption and oppression.

Tribals in Manipur or the Hill people face severe neglect from the Majority Meitei community. Only 2.2% to state budget allocated for the hill peoples.
