@thomasbrushdev Use TAA by default. Activate dynamic resolution, Add a setting for actual resolution, and one for upscaling. Ive read about STP in unity thats a software upscaler.
@thomasbrushdev With TAA, or any other upscaler, I think there are C# commands to set initial render resolution, which you can use in your option menu, like Upscaling : 'quality, balanced, performance'
@thomasbrushdev For better result, install FSR for AMD users and DLSS for Nvidia users, with upscaling options. Upscalers will allow players to play with their screen resolution, while game is rendered at a lower resolution.
@thomasbrushdev@JonatanErsarp Ive worked in both Unity and Unreal. I dont think Unity has a built-in upscaler so locking resolution will look bad in my experience, but you should look into Upscalers I think!
@thomasbrushdev@JonatanErsarp Usually, game use Upscalers nowadays. Like DLSS with NVIDIA or FSR with other GPUs. Unreal has TSR built-in. Those technologies are made to render at lower res and display at higher Resolution. Almost all AAA use upscaling and it renders beautifuly
