#Navratri has a beautiful way of bringing people together. Through the rhythm of Garba, we celebrate our traditions, share our joy and feel connected to our roots.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the Navratri celebration organised by @vngodhani School. Seeing everyone come together with such excitement and devotion was a wonderful reminder that our festivals are not just about celebration; they are also about keeping our #culture and values alive across generations.

The evening was made even more special by the presence of Shri Bhagirath Parmar, Hon. District Education Officer of Surat, whose participation added warmth and significance to the celebration.

In Gujarat, #Garba is a cherished part of our cultural identity. Every step brings us together, and every beat carries forward a tradition that has been passed down through generations.

I have always believed that education is not limited to what children learn in classrooms. It is equally about helping them understand their culture, respect their traditions and grow into individuals who carry these values forward.

My appreciation to VN Godhani School for creating such a wonderful occasion for students, teachers and families to celebrate together. When our children learn to value their roots while preparing for the future, our traditions remain in good hands.

On the birthday of Shri A. S. Kiran Kumarji, I remember not only his contribution to India’s space programme, but also the simplicity with which he carries such a remarkable journey.

When I first met him in 2013, he told me that he was a “happy at one place type of person.” He had studied in Bengaluru and then spent his working life at the Space Applications Centre in Ahmedabad, where he had joined in 1975.

I remember thinking that many people move from place to place looking for success, while some people stay rooted in one place and make that place better through their work.

I told him that day, “People move around the Earth to succeed, but for people like you, the world moves around you to succeed.”

What I have always admired about Kiran Kumarji is that his achievements never seemed to come in the way of his simplicity. Even when Kiran Kumarji received the Santokbaa Humanitarian Award, he remembered @isro and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. I liked that about him. He did not look at the recognition as something belonging to him alone. He remembered the people and the work that had brought India’s space programme so far.

On his birthday, my warm wishes to Kiran Kumarji. May God bless him with good health and many more years of sharing his #knowledge and #experience with the generations to come.

#Dussehra reminds us of the victory of truth over untruth.

In life, truth is often tested in small moments: keeping a promise, admitting a mistake, or choosing not to take advantage of a situation.

I have learnt that doing the right thing is not always easy. Sometimes, honesty comes at a cost, but it brings a peace that money cannot buy.

Truth remains truth, even when nobody is watching. For me, that is what makes the message of Dussehra so meaningful.

This #Vijayadashami I pray that Shri Ram give us the strength to make the right choices in our everyday lives.

“Creativity + Courage + Purity of Character = Knowledge.”

These words from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam during his visit to @SRKdotOne Empire have stayed with me for years. Perhaps our connection began even before those words. Dr. Kalam and I both came from humble beginnings. We knew what it meant to start with very little, work hard, keep learning and move forward step by step. That shared experience created a natural connection between us when we met.

During his visit to SRK Empire, he said that he could see creativity, courage and purity of character in different aspects of our business processes. He also called SRK a “Temple of Skill.”

His thoughts had a lasting influence on me. I wanted everyone at SRK to learn from his journey, which is why I made his autobiography, #WingsofFire, compulsory reading for everyone in the company. We kept multiple copies of the original English edition and its Gujarati translation in our library because I believe there is something valuable for everyone to learn from his life.

For me, #skill is not only about doing our work well. It is also about the way we think, the courage with which we face challenges and the values we uphold along the way. Today, on his birth anniversary and World Students’ Day, I am reminded of another belief that has guided my own journey: one should always remain a student. No matter how much experience we gain, there is always something more to learn from people, from work, from our mistakes and from life itself.

Dr. Kalam's life and words continue to remind me that learning should never stop. We must keep improving, keep sharing knowledge and remain humble enough to know that there is always more to learn.

I feel blessed to have welcomed Pujya Mohit Maral Goswami Ji Maharaj, 18th Tilkayat Adhikari of Shri Radhavallabh Lal Ji temple in Vrindavan. to my home.

Maharaj Ji’s devotion reflects the beauty of a life guided by #faith and love for God. Life reminds us that no matter how far we go, we should always remain humble, value what truly matters and stay connected to our inner self.

As the #BhagavadGita teaches us:

श्रद्धावाँल्लभते ज्ञानं तत्परः संयतेन्द्रियः।
ज्ञानं लब्ध्वा परां शान्तिमचिरेणाधिगच्छति॥

“Through faith and dedication, one gains wisdom, and through wisdom, one finds lasting peace.”

My experience has taught me that #success and material things have their place in life, but inner peace comes from somewhere deeper. Faith, good deeds and the blessings of saints and elders help us stay grounded through every stage of life.

Meeting Maharaj Ji was a reminder of these values. I am grateful for his visit and the opportunity to seek his blessings.

Every year, #navratri brings a special kind of joy to the @SRKdotOne family, as we come together to celebrate these nine days with happiness, pray to Maa Durga with devotion and seek her blessings. For me, seeing everyone come together with the same faith and excitement reflects one of the most beautiful parts of our culture at SRK. We may have different roles in our work, but moments like these remind us that we are one family united by shared values, traditions and a sense of #togetherness.

I have always believed that prayer should reflect in the way we live. When we pray to Maa Durga for strength and courage, we must also try to bring these qualities into our own lives. The true meaning of Shakti, for me, is not just in our worship, but also in the strength we encourage in others.

This year, Navratri holds an even more special meaning as it falls on the same day as the #InternationalDayoftheGirlChild. It brings to mind the responsibility we share in giving our daughters a better future. Through initiatives such as Beti Bachao and #BhagyalaxmiYojana, I have seen how education, encouragement and the freedom to make their own choices can change a girl’s life. Every daughter deserves the chance to learn, grow and follow her dreams.

I pray that Maa Durga continues to guide us and gives us the strength to do what is right, not just in our words and prayers, but through our actions and bless everyone with happiness, good health and peace, and every daughter with the courage and #opportunity to shape her own future.

It was a pleasure to welcome Shri @girirajsinghbjp Ji, Hon’ble Union Minister of Textiles, Government of India, to @SRKdotOne Empire. His visit to Surat, a city known for both its diamond and textile industries, made it especially meaningful.

During his visit, I had the opportunity to show him our diamond crafting facility and share how a rough diamond is transformed into a brilliant diamond. This journey reflects the #skill of our artisans, their years of experience, and our constant effort to learn, improve and adopt technology.

I was glad to share SRK’s journey of more than six decades, built on the dedication of our people, the trust of our partners, and the values that continue to guide us.

Such visits are an opportunity to share the work that goes on behind every diamond and to recognise the many hands and years of dedication that bring its brilliance to life.

Meeting young people and listening to their ideas always gives me an opportunity to share what I have learnt over the years and learn something new in return. I was happy to be part of the LVB Vision Grand Chapter Launch in Surat and interact with its members on #business, #entrepreneurship and the values that guide us in life.

As India moves towards #AatmanirbharBharat, I believe we must encourage more young people to dream, build something of their own and trust their abilities. #Knowledge and skills are important, but honesty, strong relationships and accountability are equally essential. I have always believed that business cannot run without honesty. Trust takes time to build, and no success is worth achieving at the cost of our principles.

During the interaction, I also shared the teachings of Dongreji Maharaj, the difference between money and happiness, and the responsibility that comes with success. Whatever position we reach in life, there is always something new to learn. When we share our experiences and learn from one another, we create opportunities to grow together.

I hope this new chapter brings meaningful connections, fresh ideas and opportunities for everyone associated with #LVBVision. My best wishes to the entire LVB family for a successful journey ahead.

On 94th #IndianAirForceDay, my heartfelt respect to the men and women of the @IAF_MCC who carry this responsibility every day.

Their courage, discipline and years of preparation protect not only our skies, but also the confidence with which our nation moves forward.

It is equally encouraging to see India building greater strength in defence through our own capabilities, technology and manufacturing. The vision of #AatmanirbharBharat, together with the spirit of #MakeinIndia, gives us the confidence to build more of what our country needs within India and contribute to our own security.

Behind every mission are pilots, engineers, technicians, ground teams and their families, all contributing in their own way.

My heartfelt gratitude to every member of the Indian Air Force for their dedication and service to our nation, and to their families for the strength and support behind them.

Heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji on completing 25 years of dedicated public service to the nation.

Today, I had the opportunity to be present at the Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra, marking 25 years of our Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s journey in public service. It was meaningful to be there along with Shri @CRPaatil ji, Hon. Union Minister of Jal Shakti, and several other dignitaries. It was also a privilege to be part of an occasion that brought together so many people around the spirit of seva and the journey of our nation.

One thought that stayed with me from the occasion was that “Janta Janardan is a form of Ishwar (God).”

I have always believed that whatever we receive in life is not only for ourselves. Our time, our knowledge, our abilities, whatever God has given us, should be used in some way for the good of others.

Another thought that stayed with me was the importance of learning from every experience. I have always felt that life is our biggest teacher. Sometimes success teaches us, sometimes difficulties teach us. The important thing is to remain a student.

The vision of #ViksitBharat @2047 was also an important part of the occasion, along with a very simple thought, “We will do it.” These words reminded me of a thought that has guided me through my own journey: “I am Nothing But I Can Do Anything.”

For me, both thoughts carry a simple belief: never underestimate what is possible when there is faith, determination and the willingness to work. One is a thought about what we can achieve as a nation, and the other has been a reminder to me personally throughout my life.

I was born in a small village in Gujarat. Whatever I have been able to do in my life has come from the blessings of God, the values given by my family, and the support and trust of many people around me.

That is why, when we speak about #ViksitBharat, I feel this belief has to become a collective one. A country does not move forward because of the efforts of a few. Every citizen has a role to play.

We may not all do the same work, but if each of us does our work honestly, keeps learning, and thinks beyond ourselves, that contribution matters. In our own way, that too is seva.

I pray that God gives us the strength to keep learning, keep serving, and keep doing whatever is in our hands for our country.

We will do it. And each one of us has a part to play in making it happen.

The #gemsandjewelleryindustry has many opportunities for those who are willing to learn, build skills and grow.

It was encouraging to be part of the launch of UNNATI - Powering Women in Gems & Jewellery, an initiative of the @GJEPCIndia (The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council), in Surat. The launch was also graced by Hon. Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri @sanghaviharsh ji along with Shri @kirit_bhansali ji, Chairman of GJEPC, and other respected members of the industry.

More than 1,100 women, including students, homemakers and women connected with the industry, came together for the launch. The first phase of UNNATI aims to enrol at least 200 women in skill development courses covering areas such as CAD jewellery design, diamond assorting and 4Cs grading, gemmology, stone setting, luxury retail and quality control.

I have always believed that when we give a person the right skill, we give them the confidence to move forward. UNNATI can open new doors for women to learn, build careers, become entrepreneurs and take on leadership roles in the gems and jewellery industry.

I appreciate #GJEPC and everyone who has come together to make this initiative possible.

This is a meaningful beginning, and I look forward to seeing many more women become a part of the growth and future of our industry.

19 years ago, SRK Knowledge Foundation (@srk_kf) began the #BhagyalaxmiYojana to support families in giving their daughters the opportunities they deserve to learn, grow and move ahead in life.

What started with supporting 9 families has now reached 24 families. Every family supported through this initiative is a reminder that when a girl is given the right opportunities, she can shape not only her own life, but the future of an entire family. I have always believed that #givingbacktosociety does not require going far, sometimes it simply means standing beside a family when they need support the most.

It was a pleasure to have Dr. Niharika Patel ji and Smt. Mitaben Goswami ji, Hon. Education Inspectors working closely with the District Education Office (DEO), Surat join us in our event. Their presence significance to the occassion that celebrated daughters, supporting families and believing in the possibilities that lie ahead.

Bhagyalaxmi Yojana continues to be a meaningful step towards empowering daughters and strengthening families. May every girl grow up with the confidence to dream, the opportunity to learn and the freedom to build her own future.

Young #entrepreneurs often ask me, “Kaka, how long does it take to become successful?”

When you are starting out, you want to see things move quickly. But business has its own time. When I started, I used to work around 14 hours a day. Those hours were not spent thinking about when success would come. I was learning the work, understanding diamonds, making mistakes, meeting people and slowly understanding the trade.

In the #diamond business, you learn with time, experience and patience. It takes time to understand the rough diamond, the cut, the market and, most importantly, the people around you. Even today, I feel that some of the most important things in business cannot be learnt quickly.

When young entrepreneurs ask me what they should keep in mind, I usually come back to three simple things: Learn and build the skills before you think about building something big. Do not let other people’s opinions decide your path. Listen, learn and then make your own decision. Give your work your best without expecting immediate results. Some things take time to grow, and their true value becomes visible only with patience.

I have seen businesses grow when people stayed with the work, took the time to understand it and learnt from every experience. I have also seen people move ahead too quickly, thinking they had learnt enough. In business, learning never really stops. The more time you give to understanding the work, the stronger your foundation becomes.

I believe that patience is not about waiting for success. It is about giving yourself enough time to become ready for it.
