Why is the world not talking about the genocide of Hindus in Bangladesh . Where are the UN ? Absolute cowards pander to Islamic aggression every time . To the Hindus fighting for survival in Bangladesh , we are thinking of you, we are with you ❤️
We were shocked by the mockery of the Last Supper during the opening ceremonies of the Paris Olympics. C Spire will be pulling our advertising from the Olympics.
Britain is home to the warmest, most lovely people in the world. It has welcomed millions of immigrants of all races and faiths. It's no wonder so many wish to make it their home.
The reason this is true is British values: equality under the law, the presumption of innocence, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, love of family and country. These values are worth protecting. Millions gave their lives in the World Wars to do so, including hundreds of thousands of Muslims.
Nobody knows better than I the contributions that immigrants make to Britain. My parents arrived here 40 years ago with little more than a newly minted medical degree.
Since then, between them my parents have given half a century of service to our NHS. My mother, at the age of 68, still works night shifts as a nurse in a respiratory ward out of love for her profession.
They both worked two jobs to give me a great education. I started a company, created hundreds of jobs and have paid millions in taxes.
But when my parents emigrated here in the 1980s, net migration to Britain was c.50k a year. This meant public services were not overstretched and new arrivals could assimilate comfortably. Last year that number was *650k*.
We have lost control of our borders and have no coherent immigration policy.
This is impacting all British people, regardless of race or religion.
We are robbing our young people of a fair opportunity. Almost a third of our young adults still live at home with their parents due to the lack of affordable housing. We must increase supply, we must halt the exploding demand
Our NHS is buckling under pressure despite us spending more on it than ever. Waiting lists are at all time highs. Reducing demand growth and policies like eliminating income tax for frontline NHS staff for the first 3 years are vital.
We must secure our borders, and put British people, of all races and faiths, first.
While being the 6th largest economy, we are 21st on a Per Capita basis, which is why people feel such a sense of stagnation.
Britain has huge potential, full of talent and energy. We're home to 3 of the world's top 10 universities. We're the country of DeepMind and Dyson.
But right now it's in trouble. We can only master this moment with courageous and bold leadership.
I see that in @Nigel_Farage and @TiceRichard
That’s why I have joined @reformparty_uk and I encourage you to join us.
