To all the Minnesotans who are making their voices heard and protesting peacefully:
The world is watching, and when change comes, it will be because of you.
Operation Metro Surge was nothing but a show of force to intimidate states that voted against Trump.
Thankfully, Minnesotans showed the country what standing up to authoritarianism looks like.
"Vance got to the point. They needed to invoke the Insurrection Act, swiftly, to crush the unrest in Minnesota. It would be painful in the short term, he said, but the message it would send — that paid agitators could not get away with disrupting ICE operations — would make sure no one tried it again. (There was no evidence that either Mr. Pretti or Ms. Good had been paid activists.)" https://t.co/ZMMITenvzl
We miss you, and think of you often.
Session is wrapped. Spring is in bloom. I’m retiring soon. You two would have thrived in retirement. I trust you’re living it now.
We have our arms wrapped around your kids. They’re remarkable. We love them.
Melissa and Mark remind us that public service is not just for elected officials—it’s for all of us.
I have proclaimed June as Public Service Month and encourage all Minnesotans to do an act of service in their honor.
Q: Are you concerned about the latest inflation numbers that came out this morning?
TRUMP: No, I love it. I love the inflation. You know why? Because as soon as this war is over -- do you know we've been taking out millions of barrels of oil? Nobody knows it. You know who doesn't know? Iran until right now.
For the fifth year in a row, we got a veterans and military affairs bill through the finish line - boosting pay for our National Guard and upgrading the benefits for SGU veterans.
Minnesota will continue to provide the best possible services to those who served us.
Even with our cold winters, we rank as the best state for quality of life.
Whether you’re raising a family or growing a business, Minnesota is the place to be.

This past year, gun violence has taken too much from Minnesota.
On Gun Violence Awareness Day, we honor everyone we've lost, and we keep fighting to make sure fewer families have to grieve.
Construction is underway at the Kellogg/3rd Street Bridge thanks to millions in bonding investments.
Today, I signed a bipartisan $1.2 billion bonding bill, capping off eight years of investments in infrastructure, jobs, and communities that keep Minnesota moving forward.
These leaders will help create a lasting public record of both the harm endured and the resilience Minnesotans demonstrated during Operation Metro Surge.
Minnesota will continue to demand accountability.

Proud to sign another bill boosting pensions for those that dedicate their careers to serving Minnesotans.
Pensions are about keeping promises - promises to the teachers, first responders, 911 operators, and public employees that the state has their back.
Yesterday I signed a bill to return 3,400 acres of land to the Fon du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa - a joint effort between the Tribe, the state, and the University of Minnesota.
Minnesotans took home more medals than any other state at this year’s Winter Olympics.
I was honored to host some of Minnesota’s Olympians and Paralympians to thank them for making our state so proud in Milan.
