@GowranH Huge virtual hugs to everyone @GowranH from somebody who knows very, very well what wonderful people you all are. You have a very special place in my heart
#CARINGTOGETHER We also celebrated our own Eurovision with our wonderful staff performing for the residents. The residents picked the winners and sang along with their own entries too. We enjoy our spin the wheel winning lots of lovely prizes. there is never a dull moment!
#CARINGTOGETHER Covid didn't stop us from having our own Wimbledon day celebrating with champagne and strawberries along with a trip through time celebrating past winners. We didn't miss out on the Irish Derby either with our own day at the races.

Since the Covid restrictions began in March , we here at Gowran Abbey Nursing home have been dedicated to ensuring our residents don't feel lonely by having as many adventures as we can!
We have made virtual visits to Italy, France, India, Australia and Hawaii.
A joy always to visit @KANDLEi oldest priest, Fr. Jack O’Leary in Gowran Nursing Home, beautiful crèche inside the door and the Wise Men en route! @Pontifex reminds us “the nativity scene allows us to ‘feel’ and ‘touch’ the poverty God’s Son took upon Himself” @CathNewsIreland
