Let's get out there, Grande Prairie! #gpab

[GP Get Active @GPGetActive]

Hello #gpab! Winter Walk Day is February 3! All you need to do is walk outdoors for at least 15min! Check out @SHAPE_Alberta for details

An outbreak has been declared for a surgical unit at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital (QEII), after one patient and two healthcare workers tested positive for COVID-19. Contact tracing for anyone potentially exposed to these individuals is ongoing. #GPAB

Now more than ever is the time to be supporting Albertans to be active through credible, evidence-based and accessible info and practical tools. We have valued our relationship with @Centre4AL and @NoraJohnston227 over many years & are sad to see it close its doors. Huge loss.

[Active Alberta @ActiveAlberta]

For over 30 years the @Centre4AL has advanced the physical activity and wellbeing of Albertans. More than ever this organization is integral to a healthy and resilient Alberta. @AlbertaCulture @LeelaAheer @APCCP @CMOH_Alberta #abcares

[GP Get Active @GPGetActive]

The @Centre4AL has long been a trusted source of information for anyone promoting sport, physical activity and recreation in Alberta. Best of luck to the staff at the Centre on their future endeavours.

[Ever Active Schools @EverActiveAB]

Saddened to hear of the news that the @Centre4AL will no longer be operating. The Centre has been a partner and friend and we would like to thank @NoraJohnston227 and staff. Healthy active lives are critical to the physical and mental health of Alberta. https://t.co/y7k8g9t6B2

Who walked to school today?

[GP Get Active @GPGetActive]

Here's a great opportunity for new or current coaches in Grande Prairie #gpab

[GP Get Active @GPGetActive]

Walking or wheeling to school may not be possible for some. Instead, try dropping off at a location 5min away and walking/wheeling the rest of the way!

[Active & Safe Routes to School (ELMO) @ELMO_ASRTS]

Not taking the school bus this school year? Be an active school traveller by walking/wheeling to school instead! Families who live farther away can wheel or drive to a drop-off location 5 minutes away from the school and #activetravel the rest of the way! @ELMO_ASRTS @OntarioAST
