We helped plant our legacy tree. We can look at the tree growing and eat apples from it throughout our time at Gillibrand.

We loved our visit from @GrandadWheels today. A highly entertaining read through of one of his books and an insight into life in a wheelchair. The children also designed some really excellent wheelchairs of their own. Thank you Brian! @Gillibrand_Sch @gillhead25

We still managed a picnic despite the rain and had a great time on our final week of our gardening project with @JigsawHG . We have learned so much about making a garden that supports plants and animals living together in harmony. @Gillibrand_Sch @gillhead25

This week Reception have been leaving their legacy in school. They have planted a pear tree that will grow with them on their Gillibrand Journey. #LeaveALegacy

Today we learned a new gardening technique called ‘no dig’ gardening which is better for wildlife that lives in your garden. We planted up all the beds with flowering plants, fruits and vegetables and it looks amazing! @gillhead25 @Gillibrand_Sch @JigsawHG @jigsawhomes

Part one of our gardening project with @jigsawhomes to design and plant a garden for the community at Buttermere Community Centre. Today our budding gardeners and landscape designers are hard at work planning their garden. @Gillibrand_Sch @gillhead25
