@GeneticJen During the big red attacks the tutorial pop up says only perfect parries work, you can't dodge through it.

You can however dodge really far away (probably less effective against future enemies).

@GeneticJen Doesn't feel much like Sekiro to me yet, but I'm only like 2 hours in. Parrying is a bit rough for me so I'm sticking with dodge rolls.

The one skill on the starting greatsword to extend the window and perfect block is nice but limited.

Liking the game though!

@HotPaperComics Boomerang X took me about 90 minutes to beat. Which is not a knock on it I had a lot of fun, but it might help in clearing any sort of mental block about having a "backlog".

We all got one but as long as you're enjoying the time it's not so bad to start up a new game.
