If complex attack like today's can happen in Kabul, this is not security. Given Taliban knew about the threat and they were not able to protect hundreds of people and families waiting for evacuation. Not to forget, US and other countries' poor management also contributed to this.

@LauraJedeed You mention “get back to living without being at war all the time.” Has America ever NOT been at war? Feels like getting into wars and letting them linger is engrained in our culture and economy. We spend big money on the military then we get the itch to deploy it somewhere.
