I really could do without the shit chat from the female commentator on the @Olympics equestrian events 🤦🏼♀️ I’ll keep whoever “John” her counterpart is, at least sounds like he’s got a bit of a clue!
I know this is long, but I wanted to make a few comments about tomorrow’s protests:
Anyone who knows me well knows that I am passionate about the Primary Sector. They know both sides of my family have farmed for generations, and that both my parents continue to work in the sector
The count down is on to our Autumn Field day. Our hosts Di & Dougal McIntosh farm 1200ha on the outskirts of Whanganui. 650ha of their property is in a mix of tree stands including eucalyptus, regenerative native Bush and deodar. See you on Wednesday to learn more
The @BillBailey live show in Palmy tonight was evidence why NZ couldn’t be in lockdown any longer than we were, it seems we as a general population have gotten weirder en masse, and the road to recovery is long
@shelleyDewHopki Not sure if this is an offical rule anywhere? But used the Paul Kennyon podcast on hogget mating as our bible and haven’t gotten below 100% in the 3 years we’ve done it!
Very much enjoyed @DrNicolaDennis’s piece for @CountryWideNZ November issue. Well written and oh-so relevant, I’ve long had qualms with rules made up based on solely modelling/simulations ...
Just received a phone call to notify us of our FIFTH audit in 18 months!! Good grief! Anyone could be mistaken for thinking the right hand isn’t talking to the left....
A perfect 100% pregnancy scanning in our hogget ewes. Back 8% on last year, but an awesome result despite the summer dry and the horrific effects of grass staggers on our farm this autumn
A thought provoking evening at the @ruralinnovate bootcamp, great to hear stories from Honest Wolf & Spiers foods innovating their way into the future @kristy_mcgregor
