Following Jesus with joy. Rooted in Scripture, led by the Spirit. Expecting God to do the extraordinary in everyday life. Here to share faith and hope. No DMs.
Christians are having a hard time to understand how healing works in Christ.
It works exactly like salvation. By faith alone.
Healing shall be you Plan A and there shall be no Plan B.
The problems arise when you have a plan B. Then A does not need to work as you can rely on Plan B.
That’s not faith. That’s lack of faith.
Once you finally get it (understand it) and experience healing in Christ, there will be no turning back.
With God, you only need a Plan A: God is My Healer!
All things are possible to him that believes!
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Galatians 6:9, KJV
Good work can feel invisible for a long time. God sees the seed, the tired hands and the season still coming. Faithfulness keeps planting.
Jesus gave His disciples authority over the power of the enemy, then redirected their joy toward something greater: their names were written in heaven. Spiritual authority is real, but salvation remains the deeper wonder.
Luke 10:19 to 20
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Hebrews 7:25, KJV
Christ saves completely. The risen Lord lives to intercede for everyone who comes to God through Him.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7, KJV
Biblical courage is not loud panic wearing religious clothes. The Spirit forms power governed by love and a mind made steady in God.
Jesus looked at the weary and scattered crowds and was moved with compassion. Then He told His disciples to pray for labourers. Compassion does more than notice need. It asks the Lord of the harvest to send willing hands.
Matthew 9:36 to 38
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Ephesians 4:32, KJV
Kindness is not weak theology. It is forgiveness wearing work clothes in an ordinary room.
We love him, because he first loved us.
1 John 4:19, KJV
Faith does not begin with us climbing high enough to reach God. Love answers the love already shown in Christ. The gospel gives the heart a first cause, and it is grace.
Peter and John had no silver or gold for the man at the temple gate. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, he rose and walked. Their lack of money did not mean they had nothing to give. Christ’s authority is not bankrupt.
Acts 3:1 to 10
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Joshua 1:9, KJV
Courage is not loneliness pretending to be strong. God goes with His people.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Galatians 5:22 to 23, KJV
The Spirit grows what image management cannot produce.
Jesus knew that the Father had given all things into His hands, then He rose from supper and washed His disciples’ feet. Security in divine authority did not make Him too important to serve. In Christ, greatness can kneel with a towel.
John 13:3 to 17
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19, KJV
Faith does not pretend needs are unreal. It brings them to the One whose resources do not shrink when ours do.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:12, KJV
The gospel is not a ladder of competing paths. Jesus is not merely a guide to salvation. He is the Saviour.
A leper worshipped Jesus and said that Christ could make him clean if He was willing. Jesus touched the man and answered, I will; be thou clean. His authority was not cold power. It reached toward the one others avoided.
Matthew 8:1 to 3
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Hebrews 10:23, KJV
Faith does not hold because circumstances remain steady. It holds because the One who promised is faithful when circumstances are not.
People really need to distinguish history from slogans.
Darby did not invent premillennialism or the expectation of a future kingdom. He systematized a dispensational framework in the 1800s. Scofield later helped popularize it through his reference Bible.
You can disagree with their conclusions. But calling everyone influenced by them heretics bound for hell is not serious biblical argument.
Test the doctrine by Scripture. That is enough.
