And with that I’ve completed an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy… I’ve just passed my acute hospital placement, so come September I’ll be a qualified SLT - it doesn’t quite feel real 🥺
Thank you for being a light in my life and making me laugh, all through one character. Matthew Perry, you truly are a star who will never be forgotten. I genuinely couldn’t BE more heartbroken 💜
A big week ahead.
This Thursday I will be speaking at an event in Parliament, hosted by MP, Saqib Bhatti and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. We will be highlighting issues for children who should be able to receive the specific speech therapy they need, and to raise awareness of CAS (Childhood Apraxia of Speech) & Verbal Dyspraxia. Our aim is to request more funding to recruit speech and language therapists to help the children and to also provide help in schools. We will be begging the government to provide more resources and support for families.
@stone_relief I currently have one fitted and it’s causing me a lot of aggro. Weeing really hurts, can’t get comfortable and it hurts when I sit down? Not sure what’s considered normal for a stent!
been in hospital since Friday, admitted with kidney stones after 20 hrs in a chair in A&E, surgery to remove stones, stent in place, and then tested positive for covid. Hopefully coming home today, but what an awful couple months these have been.. only way is up from here 🤲🏼💟
lil reminder for students as final results come out: numbers don’t define you, nor do grades - please don’t base your value on these things!!! There’s much more to life than a number 🤟🏼
