Following state and county guidelines, FCPS has reopened additional outdoor areas on school grounds to the community. Athletic fields (for walking and recreational use from 8 a.m. to sundown) and gardens are open. Playgrounds are still closed.

#tipfortoday Wearing a mask for a child can be confusing/scary. Caregivers modeling wearing them can help ease their anxiety. And make it fun for them (i.e reward, fun fabric, etc). The @CDCgov doesn’t recommend kids under 2 to wear a mask. #safe #positivereinforcement @fcpsnews
