Blaming a government that hasn't been in power for over a decade for a population spike that happened in the last few years is completely delusional. Under Harper and Kenney, immigration was maintained at manageable, sustainable levels of around 250k a year, keeping it completely in line with housing supply and infrastructure. The current administration blew the doors completely off by pushing total numbers past a million a year. Look at a calendar and learn basic math before throwing tantrums and slurs in the comments.

Working class Canadians, tradespeople, and families who can no longer afford to pay rent or buy groceries are completely done with this administration's failed economic experiments. That's completely inaccurate. Poilievre has been shouting for years about the 'simple math' of the housing crisis. He’s the only leader who explicitly stated a Conservative government will tie population growth directly to housing starts, healthcare capacity, and jobs. The current government completely broke the consensus on sustainable immigration by running numbers three times faster than we could build homes. Fixing that math isn't 'globalism,it's basic competence.

You want to talk about ‘qualifications’? Mark Carney’s big expert move was doubling the deficit in a single year while Canadians are drowning in the highest household debt in the G7. For every $1 we take home, we owe $1.77. That’s not a plan, it’s a disaster.
​You can post all the memes you want about 2008 or Pierre’s resume, but you can’t meme your way out of the fact that the interest on our national debt now costs more than the government collects in GST. While the elites in this thread are busy sniffing their own corks and acting superior, regular people are putting groceries back on the shelf because the ‘experts’ in Ottawa destroyed the value of our dollar. Keep your credentials. I’ll take the guy who actually wants to stop the spending and bring some common sense back to this country.
