@TalkinBaseball_ I was at a Rangers-Penguins preseason game at MSG in the mid-'90s where a Bruce Willis movie called "Broadway Bruiser" was being filmed. Bruce Driver of the Rangers and JJ Daigneault of the Penguins each wore jerseys with the name "Kapinsky" on them for part of the game.
@sportslogosnet Still think this is stupid and pointless, even though it doesn't look bad. The Jets already have an all-white uniform, and a damn good one at that: the "Classic" hybrid throwbacks, which they can wear up to 4x/year. There's just no need for this.
@fashion_nfl That's the Champion numeral font first used by the Jets in 1972 on early-season warm-weather jerseys, then all jerseys from '74-'84, some jerseys '85-'94, all jerseys '95-'96.
@HSports14908@fashion_nfl Champion numerals (curved "7", diagonal "2") first appeared in '72 on warm-weather jerseys, then all jerseys from '74-84; starting in '85 some jerseys had standard block numerals (straight-serifed "7", squared "2"), through '94; all Champion '95-96, all standard block '97-'18.
