@GrahamBoardman2@bluebirdk7 Re salvage rights I found this.
'In the UK, traditional statutory maritime "salvage rights" do not apply to inland, non-tidal lakes. Instead of salvage awards, the recovery of sunken property or abandoned boats in lakes is governed by property and land laws.'
I've seen photos of ice spikes but never seen one. This appeared in a shallow water dish for birds in our garden this morning. #waterspikes#ice#metoffice#bbcweather
A little ice on the lake @Painshill changing the reflection of the Ruined Abbey. Plus a little 'anomaly' in the water - maybe caused by a small spring on the lake bed and a coot on the ice
A very different view of the Crystal Grotto @Painshill. Taken while working with the Grotto Service Team to clear silt from the Grotto lake inlet #follies#grottoes
@Tone_Killick@UKgardenspiders I couldn't believe the colours of the first one, in fact I didn't think it was A. diadematus at first. I had to move her as well as she would have been trampled on
A pair of very gravid and different coloured Araneus diadematus in the Kitchen Garden at Painshill, Cobham, Surrey on Friday @UKgardenspiders@Tone_Killick
I seem to have upset the @Nigel_Farage fan club - so let me be clear.
This man sows hate, lies and division.
He is a grifter and a conman.
He does not represent the vast majority of Britons.
RT if you agree
P.s. multiculturalism is great.
Our NW Surrey garden seems to have become a 'hot spot' for Jersey tiger moths. Almost every time I go into the garden I disturb one. Last evening I saw 3 at the same time with maybe another 2 @surreymoths
