I wouldn’t usually post a thread all about one decision in a 90 minute game of football, but today’s was so significant, and so outrageous, it has to be highlighted and discussed.
At least two, if not three, fouls by Arsenal players before the ball reaches Pablo and Raya.
Rice on Big Mav. Todibo getting a nice warm embrace. Lewis-Skelly shoves Summerville.
Same old Arsenal.
Arsenal are the most fantastic cheats. Amazing cheats. They’re the best in the game. The moment Raya drops that, he’s screaming. It’s a melee. He’s got both hands up and has dropped it.
This is a very good summary. But the sad thing is that almost none of them are primarily audio products now. Football podcasts are bigger than ever, but also worse than ever, with the same root cause: the obsession with making (1min, viral) video content.

What a pleasure it was seeing the people of Paris reconnect with and re-embrace the world’s greatest race.
Montmartre was an excellent addition to lift the Tour’s finale out of its sterile laps-of-the-Champs-Élysées habit, and a fitting way to end a ballistic lap around France.
