Winter wheat harvest continues across the province between rains. The corn crop is pollinating and in early reproductive stages, while the soybean crop is in the mid-reproductive stages across much of the province.

Grain Farmers of Ontario's Field Progress reported that winter wheat harvest was at 63 per cent as of Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Many are reporting average to above-average yields and good quality.

Winter wheat harvest continues across much of the province. As corn and soybeans move into the reproductive stages, diseases such as tar spot are being scouted for, while insects such as western bean cutworm and corn rootworm are also on the radar in corn. In soybeans, white mould, aphids, and more are being scouted for.
