China's MOC have announced they will drop anti-dumping and anti-subsidy tariffs on Australian barley imports that had been in place for 3 years affecting billions of dollars of trade.

Investors expected a 17% progress reading but the national reading was 19%, as of April 18. This is a 12 point gain from the previous year and a 7 point gain to the 5 year average.

The USDA weekly report shows that corn planting progress is exceeding expectations in major growing states.

South American crops had a strong week. Both corn and soybeans bean market expectations.

Another week means another weekly rating. US and world corn supply fell short of forecasted levels while soybeans and wheat exceeded expectations.

US cotton production was in line with market forecasts but exports and end stocks varied at both the US and world levels.
