This Rod, he gets to church 1 hour before we serve coffee and donuts. He has to stop three times while walking in to catch his breath. He will have to sit down and rest once in the building. He will tell you that worshipping Jesus with the saints is worth the effort. I love Rod!

Despite our best efforts to impart wisdom to our kids before they set off into the world alone, the very best thing we can do is actually live the way we want them to live one day. We know it's easier said than done, but we also hope it takes a bit of the pressure off.

Today the Grand View Church voted by 87% to disaffiliate from the UMC. For many this is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for this Christian Community. And for some, this is a difficult and sad result. We pray for ALL. And we continue to pray for God’s guidance.
