You aren't a bad trader, you don't just understand the phases of the market..., and for this reason, you approach it wrongly.

And yeah, there would surely be some disagreements on this, but before you do so, allow me explain to you.

Below is a pictorial representation of how the market moves, simply put... the Path to Alt season 👇

Money enters crypto through Bitcoin first, then rotates to Ethereum, then to large-cap alts, and finally floods into mid/small/meme coins → that final phase is alt season.

In PHASE 1, fresh money enters cryptos through channels like institutions, ETFs, whales & smart money.

In this stage, bitcoin pumps hard, increases in dominance, while alts underperform/bleed out.

This is due to the fact that at this stage, BTC feels the safest crypto asset, and big money doesn’t take risk immediately without seeing signs of market confidence.

Now, before a new phase of the market, there's always going to be an overlap, and in this phase, the key signal is that ETH starts outperforming BTC.

In PHASE 2, ETH outperforms BTC clearly, and ETH-based/focused narratives starts exploding (such as staking, L2s, ETFs, upgrades).

Talks of ETH “Flippening” begins to spread in this stage.
Then comes the overlap, with a key signal to watch for when large caps start doing 2 to 5X in gains quickly.

This happens, and PHASE 3 begins quickly.. the Large Cap Phase .

Here, Large-cap alts like PEPE, SOL, BNB, AVAX go parabolic.

ETH in this stage has already massively outperformed BTC, and so narratives like AI, RWAS, Privacy, DePIN, etc. starts dominating the market and gaining traction.
In this phase, confidence is high in the market, retail is returning, and the timelines are bullish but not euphoric yet.

The overlap in Phase 3 is where you see everything starts pumping
Here, low cap fundamentally strong small caps start pumping, a correlation rises and many coins move together.
Risk appetite of the market suddenly increases sharply.

This is the bridge into full altseason.

𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙋𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙚 4: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙪𝙡𝙡 𝘼𝙡𝙩𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣
In this phase, everything pumps; mid caps, low caps, micro caps, and memecoins.
Fundamentals at this point nearly matters as even coins with no product start doing 10Xs.
New coins also do insane multiples in days, as there is heavy money and liquidity rotation with everyone hunting for the next 100X gem.

Euphoria here is on the extreme, and everyone almost becomes irrational with their approach to the market.

𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞:
1. Taxi drivers talking crypto
2. Uninterested Family members and friends start calling you to put them on.

3. People quitting their jobs
4. Coins doing 10x in a week with no product
5. Normies flooding in without no proper.
6. Memes everywhere
7. Every Tom, Nick, Jack and Harry start feeling like a genius over some random 10x play.

At this stage, it's likely a generic top for the market, and time to start quickly exiting.

𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬;
1. Take aggressive profits
2. Rotate back to BTC or stablecoins
3. Do not fall in love with bags

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀?
📌Big money is risk-managed
📌Capital always flows:
📌Low risk → higher risk → extreme speculation
📌Liquidity always exits small caps first

And yes, the market may not have felt that 4-year altseason cycle we always crave and hope for, it is however unwise to neglect a known cycle routine.

You don’t need to catch the top, trade right, and avoid being the exit liquidity.
