Beyond disappointed for @SalSports here.
I’ve always loved and respected Steve Tasker, and this is said with absolutely no ill will toward him.
Sal has been the epitome of what a sideline reporter should be throughout the years. His professionalism, preparation, compassion and presence have always stood out, and it’s hard to imagine not hearing him after the big moments our Bills have.
I understand it wouldn’t make sense for a WGR reporter to also be a 97 Rock reporter, I just really hope Sal can still be a part of gameday and the sidelines for WGR in some capacity.
For the last 12 years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to be the sideline reporter on the Buffalo Bills Radio Network via WGR/Audacy.
As many of you know, there will be a change. While I won’t be serving in that role moving forward, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity I’ve had over those years to cover this team from such a unique perspective on game day.
To everyone in the Bills organization, and my radio colleagues - I’ll miss being with you on the field and in the booth, but thankful for the long-lasting friendships and relationships we’ve built.
To you, Bills fans and listeners everywhere - I can’t thank you all enough for the love, support, and trust you always place in me. It’s never something I take for granted, and it will continue to motivate me moving forward!
With that said, I’m excited to keep doing what I love and where I love doing it - covering the Buffalo Bills every day on WGR, and continuing to bring you the news, insight, and stories surrounding the team, alongside an amazing team at WGR and Audacy!
I’ll still be at every game, home and away, and can’t wait to see and talk to so many of you once again this season!
Thank you for the love. ❤️💙
I've been a Brandon Beane defender. However, I’m done with the "Sustained Success" era. Tired of hearing about how the Bills are "in" on guys only to lose out on the deal.
I'm ready for Beane to go F*** them Picks / The Cap is a Myth mode and go ALL IN on chances at guys like a Dexter Lawrence.
Maximize every tool to acquire the most talent you can over the next 2 years, because if the cap and draft capital is in shambles in 2029/2030 and the Bills don't have a Lombardi, everyone is losing their jobs anyway.
Brandon Beane in the past has been pretty condescending about how the Rams went all in and said it isn't a good way to sustain success. Egg on his face.
The Bills aren't drafting high enough to get a "Ja'Marr Chase" ... okay...
And mocked teams like Philly for constantly making trades.
Well for ME, I want to see Brandon become part Les Snead, part Howie Roseman, and go ALL IN on mortgaging the future in both picks and salary cap deferment for the next 2-3 year window.
No excuses. Give it ALL to Josh Allen, and if in 2029 the cap is in shambles and you don't have any draft picks... Who cares?
Tre'Davious White with the PBU that led to the game-winning INT and also had two breakups in three plays to help hold the Jags to a field goal earlier in the game. Torn ACL in 2021 and torn Achilles in 2023. Turns 31 on Friday. Still balling. Hell yeah.
@NateGearySports We needed another edge that will take 3 years to make an impact and even then it’ll be minimal compared to their draft stock and then we’ll have to pay them bc their contract is up.
