@Smlindbe The one I've heard articulated most often is that the chalkboard offers more chalk-to-board resistance, and faculty who've grown used to that feel like their handwriting suffers on a whiteboard with lower resistance.
@thatpsychprof I mean, honestly, I feel pretty uncomfortable with the inequity that I'm complicit in reinforcing as a CU staff member too, and that's why the talk was so good. Thanks! #coltt2018
@bouldercolorado Hey, would you have anyone who could talk to me about the hardware setup of your awesome streaming webcam here? https://t.co/qZSiQYvX8b Looking to do something similar at CU.
@JessebAdam@Research_Tim Only in IT (IT manager for the department), and my faculty is heavily credential-dependent in terms of recognizing experts, unfortunately.
@Research_Tim@JessebAdam It was a super interesting talk--I think our faculty in Electrical Engineering would really benefit from something similar. Thanks, Tim!
@JessebAdam@Research_Tim In that quote, I'm not sure whether he means the latter, or both--I think the second interpretation is more interesting than the first.
@JessebAdam@Research_Tim This is an interesting quote--@research_tim switches between performance: "to do something" and performance: "how well you do something"
