@5150Farms I had my 4450 done last year by MAD garage, along with with their ceramic coating. Great guys to work with. I just did the side windows. Makes a world of difference.
@bl_ag_inc Very true. If the market was willing to take the risk with the producer would be a different story. The oat millers want US sourced oats but won’t put in a rail loader because it is easier to buy bulk oats off the rail in Canada. Not sure how that goes in the future, with tariffs
@steveconaway1 I think it is mostly dependent on your average field size. The other factor is region. If I farmed in Illinois or Iowa, I would easily get two more weeks of field work to do after harvest than I do in the dakotas before ground freeze up.
@GoddessofGrain If I could dedicate all my time to sitting in the office and tracking the market I would be good marketing my own grain (even enjoy it). I know just enough to get myself in trouble. If I take a week off, I feel I can’t catch up.
@LowBoomLowDrift When the dealer says to use it until you have made your decisaion and not worry about the hours or time you have the unit. I realize that there are guys out there that will take advantage of the situation. A guy wants to be certain before spending $XX,000 more.
@bl_ag_inc@gymwarrior@PamSmithDTN I bought one for my 4 year old to help clean the shop. The guys in the shop love it and wish i bought the bigger one.
