@Sammyjo1954@ltg1810@GuidoFawkes Lot’s in the news even before the changes to women’s state pension age being announced at the 1993 Budget. Here’s an article written the week before the Budget.

@RecordMoney_ After over 10 years of campaigning, and with nearly all the affected #50sWomen now in receipt of their state pensions, it’s the end of the road for what has been a complete waste of time and money ending up with zero compensation.
@AnnJohn30914404 Why don’t they write an article about child poverty? 1 in 3 children live in poverty as opposed to 1 in 6 pensioners. Then you have the wealthy #WASPI#50sWomen boomer generation still whining about the well publicised changes made to the women’s SP age over 30 years ago!
@NJM71 Desperation! The #WASPI#50sWomen campaign is on it’s last legs with nowhere to go! As I’ve been saying for the last 10 years, the campaigns been a complete waste of time and money. Supported by naive, vulnerable and delusional women. It’s over.
Dear #50sWomen
‘Changes to State Pension age to equalise it to 65 and increase it to 66, 67 and 68 were agreed by Parliament and have been tested in the Courts’
Signed

@SteveMillman@daviesfamile@GBNEWS Yes, the age changes to #50sWomen#WASPI state pension was well known about before even before being announced at the 1993 Budget. Here’s one article from the week before the Budget.

@hinsley_lynne Her and another deluded CEDAWinLAW groupie, Julia Jay of 50’s & 60’s Women United, seem to be blissfully unaware that their #50sWomen Petition for ‘mediation’ doesn’t actually mention or ask for that at all. They won’t be happy with the Government response. I can’t wait!
@dm180914 Very odd? The SNP agreed with the age changes made to #WASPI#50sWomen state pension by the 1995 Pensions act. It was the changes made by the accelerated 2011 Act you were against!

@DiddleBridge @grok@UKgovcomms The Legal action you refer to was the 2019 Backto60 Court case on behalf of #50sWomen and nothing to do with men’s pension age! The case was dismissed as was the Appeal and the Appeal to the Supreme Court.

@dontdelay My guess is that #WASPI#50sWomen will try to proceed with a Judicial review. I estimate they have somewhere in the region of £350k in funds including their Crowdjustice and other available monies. They’re not going to go quietly!
