🚨NEWS: There has been public outrage after it was revealed that a Syrian migrant living in Germany with 3 wives, 32 children and 25 grand-children was claiming a total of over €100,000 a year in benefits whilst 70% of his family have criminal records
@KnightLegg Imagine what our economic outlook would be if Canada put tariffs on O&G. And lets remember all our O&G that goes east of Manitoba travels through the US because Canada is full of fools
One of the main reasons Canada has such poor productivity growth is Capital Shallowing (i.e. less CAPEX per person). This is due in part to years of asinine industrial policy centred around anti-oil.
In Q2 it rose again. This is good.
@BarbaraRKay Some days it is hard to admit you are a Canadian. Our values are been eroded and not in a good way. What say you to the CBC Markie? After all the CBC works for you.
"Terrorism has a definition, and Canada wrote one into law. Section 83.01 of the Criminal Code describes an act committed for a political, religious, or ideological purpose, with the intention of intimidating the public or compelling a government to act, that causes death or serious bodily harm. Nineteen men who hijacked four aircraft to kill nearly three thousand people in the name of a declared religious war meet every element of that test." @stevestaley
In light of the CBC News’ grotesque rewriting of history, which insults the memories of all who died that day and all who sacrificed in Canada’s longest war since Korea, I expect a full throated condemnation by our Prime Minister, as as well as an expectation that he treat CBC News leadership with the same level of contempt and issue the same threats of committee hearings that he levelled at the former CEO of Air Canada, following his unilingual misstep after the accident at LaGuardia that killed two Air Canada pilots.
