Tree surgery, hedge laying and associated works. National champion hedge layer. Working spaniel lover.

Do it right and do it once.

[Graham Teece @Grateece]

@TrooperSnooks I can only comment on what I see but it is poor hedge laying. Complete lack of build.

[Graham Teece @Grateece]

@BirderSouth @ScarecrowNeste1 @tonymcguire1966 It's not that uncommon for late Jan.

[Graham Teece @Grateece]

@MartinSLewis Three pounds a day electricity, 600 litres of oil a year and logs I cut myself for the stove.

[Graham Teece @Grateece]

@an_ieva A selection of old and new if it's any help.

[Graham Teece @Grateece]

@fionaharvey @GeorgeMonbiot If Monbiot said it then it must be true :-) Clueless as usual.

@JackPerksPhoto A miller's thumb was flattened from testing ie rubbing flour with it.

Autumn sun and a robin on my billhook.

[Graham Teece @Grateece]

@VeryGameGirl I work alone in fields and woods, I live alone, I have two spaniels. I don't feel lonely. I'm just a miserable bastard :-)

@leecooper66 @walkhighlands Specsavers.

[Graham Teece @Grateece]

@backroads_linda It's hawthorn Crataegus monogyna. It does well in many parts.

@TiCLme @Team4Nature @keeper_of_books @LanesTree @NorthumbriaTree @CityofTreesMcr @BhamTreePeople @andyheald @WoodlandTrust @nspugh @MoreTreesBANES Typical boles for that species.

[Graham Teece @Grateece]

@janSnapdragon @copseworker Hares will come to a squeak.

[Graham Teece @Grateece]

@copseworker I once squeaked one across a river. He was working the opposite bank and jumped straight in and swam across.

[Corncrake/Traonach LIFE @CorncrakeLife]

Demonstration of our flushing bar at the Erris show in Belmullet today.

The bar, combined with slow middle-out mowing, is a huge mitigation against mortality of wildlife in meadows.

[Graham Teece @Grateece]

@BirderSouth Trapping and shooting required.
