Had my birthday last game & there was an envelope on my seat with a few things in it.
I've just received a card from wba with the players signatures & wishing me a Happy birthday.
It's a nice touch from the club and much appreciated.
Thank you @WBA 💙
@sarah_WBA_ It's all personal opinion and I don't really hold much against him.
And I completely agree us keeping him on longer than we should isn't his fault and he did always do his best.
However I just think as a captain he didn't helped set the standards.
CC dropped him, so did Mason.
@JesperAudi@WBA Definitely would've loved him to stay.
We will never know but I think it's more the club didn't offer him anything.
Rather than trying to offer a contract to him on reduced terms - as they've said they are doing with Grant and Maja.
I think we've just let him go
@Achieving_Goalz@jarvinho_ Dike was never one doing that. Don't know what you were watching.
Dike was never given a chance under Mason. Ramsay then had to get some fitness into him
Mozza put him straight in and made us look a whole lot more threatening.
Defence needed time to gel + playin right position
@HisseyMatthew@coldioyacob@jarvinho_ Personally wouldn't agree with either of you.
Heggebo is far better than Maja.
Younger, quicker, great hold up play, good aerial, good strength, scored off minimal service this season - had no off season and stayed fit.
Dike best finisher - best minutes per goal for our squad
@coldioyacob@jarvinho_ He's got no pace and no physicality.
Keeping Dike we've got that physicality which provides us a different aspect.
Just need to bring in a quick striker now
Few things have united my constituents like the anger felt over the West Bromwich Albion points deduction.
I’ve written to the @EFL on behalf of fans to seek answers. #WBA
Just in case anybody is any doubt as the level of absurdity of this charge…
We’ve been deducted points for making donations to a CHARITY!!
You really do hate the game and the people who follow it don’t you @EFL?
#wba
@JackWhitman_7 You don't understand your own clubs situation?
Your point deduction is from 2 seasons ago... Therefore wasn't implemented the following season was it
@lee_laver@rik_may@SteveoLarham It can't be off that basis when Leicester were £20m+ over the allowed, didn't make an attempt to comply - kept signing players on record wages. To only be given a 6 point penalty
@lee_laver@rik_may@SteveoLarham I highly doubt it's that much .
Especially when wba have come out and said they disagree with the claims.
For it to be that big of a disparity, you would know for definite.
I reckon it's a lot smaller and the £1.1m that is being alleged that I've read
@SteveoLarham@Thomas_2791 If that is the case, the other point regarding how bad the impact is remains.
For us to do everything to comply and be working on a day by day basis with the EFL.
Leicester ignored it all as they wanted promotion.
Can see it being a fine or a transfer ban
@NatJPeters Dont people look stuff up?
Why should Leicester go ballistic?
The current 6 point deduction they are facing is from their promotion from the championship.... 2 seasons ago! 😂
@wbaaa7 Well I mean, we should care.
We need to everything we can to go and win all remaining 4 games. So if a point deduction comes, we have done everything we can to avoid it
@MrRyanLeister As per your last line, exactly mate, as a baggies fan.
All this damage is what we have been trying to recover from the previous owner.
Despite selling all our better players to comply since - hence why we are in a relegation fight rn.
@lee_laver@rik_may@SteveoLarham Where have you got 16.6m from?
It's being alleged wba are over by 1.1m.
Also Leicester had their dedication pushed back 2 seasons.
This 6 point deduction they have now is from when they were promoted from the champ 2 seasons ago.
