@p0quess1ng Yeah this not including other gass monucels that are released, that are worse at warming like methane, nitrous oxide, SF6, and NF3 from leaks, agriculture, factories and tech/electric sector emissions. Our current autmosfere is this basically cocktail when thinking about it.
@BasqueOli Deer are migratory animal they have to have good memory to survive once food runs out in the area, once they find safe way to cross the highway they always going to cross that way that why those bridges work in the first place
@p0quess1ng@BasqueOli Yeah the more research in this area the more surprising that Birds didn't go extinct. Like I assumed a lot of small beak birds that eat seed and insects eating suvived well but with new information it seems they berlly any survived
@BasqueOli@p0quess1ng Only way is to test it out is to smash the same size asteroid and see after 1 million years what group survived to know for sure.
@BasqueOli@p0quess1ng Who knows aperantlly only 3 species of birds actually survived K-PG event, that way worse survival than initially thought https://t.co/jEAuXzG0Eu
New bird phylogeny just dropped. Divergence time estimates are consistent with as few as three birds surviving Chicxulub- the ancestor of Palaeognathae, the ancestor of Galloanseres, and the ancestor of Neognathae. Assuming a few thousand Cretaceous birds, >99.9% extinction.
@p0quess1ng isolated inland seas that would be fun evolution potential, that like having many mega lake paratethys and planet not having tectonic plates it unlikely that climet and geography going to rapidly change to destroy them in this scenario. But terraforming is still imposible.
@krutenk0@andyd10 Next time just check source link and pay very close attention to births categories like "Jews" that only has Jews births and "Jews and Others" that that has Jews + non Jews like Russian, Ukrainians and other immigrants groups.
@krutenk0@andyd10 Yeah what you posted was Israel 2025 preliminary data. Even with actual data from 2025 "Jews" births still increased in March 2026 in preliminary data. It seems you compered "Jews and Others" births in 2025 with just "Jews" births in 2026 that why it you got decline.
@krutenk0@andyd10 the only difference that your old data you posted got updated where they increased numbers in some births category's in 2025, here link to new up to date data: https://t.co/GvLmuJUDUG
@krutenk0@andyd10 Nah this is the same Israeli data it shows that in 2026 "Jews" category in March had 11,287 births vs 2025 "Jews" category in March had 11,118 births and when we include "Jews and Others" category it shows that 2026 in March 11,571 births vs 2025 in March 11,467 births.
@PhilippusArabus@GFMindset@avrilbradley23@RolloRouen basically Hinduism is in weird middle ground where it monotheistic and polytheistic at the same time that why compering it Greco-Roman polytheists is weird because Greco-Roman holy tex doesn't clearly state existence of only one god
@PhilippusArabus@GFMindset@avrilbradley23@RolloRouen But it not really Hindu polytheism that believes "there is only one God with many manifestations" unlike other polytheism religion where they actually do believe in more gods
@PhilippusArabus@GFMindset@avrilbradley23@RolloRouen That why Buddhism won out most people still where local animist, they didn't practice strict caste system, not to mention most didn't speak or read Sanskrit witch was Latin of Hindu religion
@PhilippusArabus@GFMindset@avrilbradley23@RolloRouen Commoners did not practice strict, orthodox Hinduism as it was known in India. Instead, they practiced a blend of folk Hinduism, indigenous animism (worship of local spirits, ancestors, and nature), and later, Mahayana Buddhism. It was mostly mostly elite religion
@PhilippusArabus@GFMindset@avrilbradley23@RolloRouen In short Hinduism caste system only benefited political elite and merchant class that why most common people still followed animism and resisted caste implication then later converted to Buddhism that had no caste system
