JUST IN: Meharaj Aslam Sayyad, Siraj Aslam Sayyad, Mustakim Aslam Sayyad, Younus Sheikh and 2-3 others brutally mob-lynched Hindu activist Dheeraj to death for wearing sacred teeka in a Muslim-dominated area in Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra.

They attacked with wooden clubs and iron pipes, intending to only kill worker Dheeraj Kacharusingh Pardeshi.

Dheeraj worked for a company contracted to repair electricity faults. His team had 2 Muslims and 2 Hindus. Only he was mob-lynched because he wore a teeka, per his wife.

Dheeraj died from serious injuries to the back of his head.

Per his wife, another Hindu present said radicals asked Dheeraj what he was doing in their area wearing a teeka. He was spared because he wasn't wearing a teeka and they didn't realise he too was Hindu.

Six reportedly arrested. No official confirmation yet.

Reportedly, Jharkhand Govt has agreed to cancel JPSC exams as per students' demand.

Reportedly, All 3 serving JPSC members— Ajita Bhattacharya, Anima Hansda & Jamal Ahmed—have resigned, with Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar accepting their resignations.

The move comes amid student protests and an ongoing CID investigation into alleged irregularities in the JPSC recruitment process.

The three members are summoned by CID amid the probe.
