16 Years Today

I am writing this today, on my 16th Anniversary of being a Person Living with HIV. My name is Eros de Vera and this is my story.

It was year 2009 of January 13 when I was confirmed I have HIV.

Inom lang U ng ARVs regularly and you’ll be U=UI! Ang HIV Treatment ay mahalaga para safe ang pag-awra!

Kapag regular ang pag-inom ng ARV o Antiretroviral drugs, maaaring maging Undetectable na ang virus sa katawan ng person living with HIV.

Ayon sa Philippine HIV and AIDS Policy Act of 2018, Ang pagsisiwalat ng HIV status ng walang pahintulot ay paglabag.

Ikaw ba ay nakaranas na malabag ang iyong privacy dahil ipinaalam sa iba ang iyong HIV status ng walang consent o iyong pahintulot?

Mental health issue isa sa mga pinakachallenging part as PLHIV. Di mo alam kung dahil ba sa side effect mg ARV or tumatanda ka. Kaya laban lang talaga. Nagpapasalamat ako na may mga nakakausap ako dito sa Alter world. Malaking tulong un para maibsan un nararamdaman ko.
